Deval's Administration Flushes $13 Million

Governor "Cadillac" Deval Patrick's administration overspent by the tune of $13million dollars when it hurriedly signed a computer software contract that has since been canceled, and is now the subject of a state ethics investigation. All this seems to have have happened at the behest of Massachusetts House Speaker Salvatore F. DiMasi, who had a keen interest in Cognos, Inc., the company in question. Stephen Kurkjian has the story from today's Boston Globe.
