This Isn't Goodbye...
Well, after a long couple of weeks, it's official: I'm the store manager at the new store opening in November in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. The store will be opening on November 21st, so I need to be there around November 11th. It's a strange feeling, leaving the area I was born and raised in. But I am excited to be starting an exciting chapter in my life. To give you an idea where Parkesburg is, it's about 15 miles east of Lancaster, PA, just off Route 30. Barb and Emily will be staying in North Adams until Emily graduates in June, and then they will be joining me in PA. I plan on maintaining "The Blazer Blog," and will continue to comment on goings-on here in North Berkshire. It just may be a bit until real regular blogging resumes. Wish us luck, and stop in if you are ever traveling "The Lincoln Highway" through Amish country...

Andy I truely wish you Gods Speed. Are there lots of Repukes there? Wern't there a Cival War Battle there abouts in Parkesburg?
Andy
Good luck to you and your family. I have read your blog for a few years now and i like it. I enjoy the comments and opinions. Anyway I hope all goes well in PA.

Congratulations, I hope all goes as you plan. It may help you put that history degree to work. I love the Amish country - good luck to you.
Cool!
Best of luck on the move, and enjoy Lancaster. There's a Waffle House there, if memory serves. What more would anyone need?
The Lancaster-York area is beautiful. Good Luck Andy. There are some good resaurants in Bird in Hand.
Oh Yes, two other things....First, despite what Clark says, the town just north west of Lancaster is altoona, not all tuna.
And the funniest joke in the region is this..." What is this,
clip clop, clip clop, clip clop; bang!,
clip clop, clip clop, clip clop?"
An Amish drive by shooting!"
Good luck and watch out for carriages on the roads.....oh yes, and stock a lot of black sneakers!
that bosley guy has all the answers as usual. HE knows what's best for everyone. too bad he doesn't apply that same approach to his own physical appearance. he is morbidly obese. he can barely walk. did anyone else see him laboring at the parade? if he can't even take personal responsibility over his own body, how can we expect him to do what's best for us? he really needs to get his own personal house in order first.
and that amish joke is real funny given what happened to those poor young school girls not that long ago. but to bosley, that is funny, so it is.
