Clarksburg Wants Own Zip Code (Again)

Reminiscent of Hollywood, where there are no new ideas around so they continually re-make old movies, the Town of Clarksburg is re-hashing the demand for it's own zip code. I was on the Board of Selectman in Clarksburg back in 2000 when this last came up, and since the cast of federal players hasn't changed much, I can't see where the decision will be much different this time around, either. I guess with no restaurant dilemmas or Town-City sewer issues to fight about, it's back to page three in the town playbook.

Something has changed since 2000 is the amount that other services and practices rely on zip codes for location information.

From a political standpoint- I guess the question is--who would you rather rule your community- the Clarksburg Board of Selectmen (persons) or Da Mayor????

Andy.....You are sounding a bit bitter toward your old comrades? Anyway, I posted over on "Walk-in Brain" my response, but to expand a little here and try not to show favorites, I would say to all those reading, that bigger isn't synonymous with better.
